Slow fashion takes time
Golden Buoy has never been considered fast fashion. But we did used to work our wetsuit socks off to deliver most orders within one working day!
This required a constant excess of stock to ensure fast availability, and long wait times for the next print run if a size sold out.
As a brand making so many conscious decisions elsewhere to minimise waste, this wasn't the best approach.
Now every garment is made-to-order
Put simply - if there's no demand for a garment, it won't be produced.
The beauty of this approach? Apart from only take a few days longer than before, it means no excess stock taking energy and releasing emissions to create!

The average lead time from order to delivery is one week.
Sometimes we're a little faster, others we take a couple of days more.
It all depends on how many orders we're processing ahead of yours.

Sadly no. After each order is placed we start working on it immediately, so the turnaround time is already the fastest we can achieve.

We ship via Royal Mail Tracked 24 as soon as your order's production is complete.
You'll be notified by email and receive a Royal Mail tracking link to keep an eye on its progress.

We hope to bring back overseas shipping very soon, but at the moment we're only shipping within the UK.
This is to give us a chance to explore the most cost effective solution for overseas customers.

Yes, all items will be produced as fast as possible and bundled into the same package for delivery.
